Message from the Principal

Hello and welcome to Rockcreek Elementary School, home of the Bulldogs! My name is Cathy Jackson and I am proud to be the principal here! Established in 1958, our school has a long-standing tradition of excellence and community spirit. My name is Cathy Jackson, and I am honored to serve as the principal of this wonderful school. Whether you are a new family or a family who has attended Rockcreek for generations, we are thrilled to have you here and hope our page helps you discover what makes Rockcreek such a special place for children to learn and grow.
Our vision at Rockcreek is simple: we strive to establish a safe and positive learning community that works collaboratively to develop responsible and respectful lifelong learners. We help every student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Each year, we serve an average of 328 students from PreK through 6th grade. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to create a student-centered environment where curiosity is encouraged, and every child is valued. We tailor our instruction to meet the unique needs and strengths of every learner, ensuring that all Bulldogs reach their fullest potential.
At the heart of our school culture is a strong commitment to character development. We teach and model our core values every day: Respect, Responsibility, Safety, Presence, and Kindness. These values guide our students as they focus on academics and build lasting friendships that prepare them to be future leaders in our community.
Learning at Rockcreek extends far beyond the classroom! We offer a variety of extracurricular opportunities that allow students to explore their interests, from academic teams and robotics to music and athletics. These activities foster teamwork, creativity, and personal growth. In addition, the active involvement of our Bulldog Boosters—our incredible parent group—helps make Rockcreek a true community. Rockcreek Elementary School: a school, community, and family!
